Facebook Questions ‘missing’ somebody find it

After gaining an inspiration from Yahoo Q&A, leader of social networking website, Facebook tried to follow the footsteps of Yahoo by launching Facebook Questions but it appears that this effort didn’t bear any fruit. Few people did try to figure out whether Facebook Questions still exists somewhere on the website or not and to their surprise, they didn’t find Facebook Questions anywhere.

If you are mistaking this different app with an option of ‘Ask Question’ then please don’t. The option of ‘Ask Question’ is still very much there on the website under the status box but here we are talking about an altogether different app called ‘Facebook Questions’, which was released two years back. It was launched in a limited beta version and users were able to access this version at facebook.com/?sk=questions. However, the URL was changed to facebook.com/questions after this app was made available to the users of Facebook, way back in March 2011.

At present, these two URL’s have been redirected to the News Feed but the second URL just shows poll questions and now no ‘Questions’ app is visible in the full Apps list. Along those same lines, no Facebook Questions is seen in the Apps section of Facebook under their App Center. When a mail regarding the same was forwarded to the communication team of Facebook all they did was respond with a reply that they are looking into the matter. It is quite apparent that this effort by Facebook didn’t produce the desired result and hence Facebook consider withdrawing it from its website.

  2. This is big help for my facebook applications developers. Facebook is one of today’s most visited websites in the World Wide Web. And it was because of this that Facebook became the popular place to market a business which in turn led to the growth of an Internet Marketing technique that focuses mainly on Facebook and other popular social media sites. This is SMO or Social Media Optimization.
